Last night I had a special performance in honor of my 70th birthday (which was last month). I invited dozens of friends and family.

I sang and played my favorite songs, my way. With a great bunch of performers including Dr. Shlomi Goldenberg (sax), Tom Peleg (bass), Nati Frimerman (drums), Giora Herzberg (electric mandolin) and Rinat Messika (vocals).

It was also my first gig with my wife's birthday present to me, a 100-year old C-melody saxophone that plays rather well (it needs to be coaxed a bit, that's all). A great time was had by me. And hopefully everyone else.

To those of you who missed it, no worries. I will be back for a return engagement (I hope) in 2031.
